This procedure does not use a single technique for all cases. It requires a deep analysis of the lesions and a consideration of various elements: skin characteristics, volume of fat to be removed, state of the lap belt, morphology of the operated patients. The process is then adapted to each case.
If the skin contains many lesions and is stretched (stretch marks, scars), the liposuction alone is not sufficient, abdominoplasty is then more appropriate.
