Eyelids (blepharoplasty)

This technique involves correcting the signs of ageing present around the eyelids so that the “tired” appearance of the look can be replaced by a more leisurely and relaxed appearance.

“Blepharoplasties” are any type of cosmetic surgery to the eyelids which aims at removing the unsightly features whether they are hereditary or due to age.

They may concern only the two upper or lower eyelids, or even all four eyelids at the same time.

A blepharoplasty will correct the signs of ageing around the eyelids and replace the  “tired” appearance with one which is  more relaxed and leisurely.

The operation aims to provide a long-term correction to these unsightly features by surgically removing the excess skin and muscle as well as the fatty protrusions, and this, of course, without altering the essential functions of the eyelids.
